Morpheus von Dobenhausen (33) wuchs in der Oberpfalz in Bayern auf. Mit 24 Jahren zog er in die Schweiz, wo er drei Jahre als DJ aktiv war und eine Band kennenlernte, mit der er anschließend in die USA ging. In San Francisco und Los Angeles entwickelte er als Studiomusiker und Bandleader seine musikalische Handschrift. Heute lebt er wieder in Deutschland und arbeitet als Produzent und Musiker – mit einer klaren Leidenschaft für emotionalen Pop.
Mit seiner Single „Two Hearts“ erreichte er bereits große Aufmerksamkeit. Im Mai 2025 sorgte sein Auftritt in Kopenhagen für ein wahres Feuerwerk an Sound und Emotionen. Die Single „Love is in the Air“ öffnete ihm schließlich die Türen zum internationalen Radio: Der Song läuft inzwischen auf offiziellen Stationen in über 30 Ländern – von den USA bis Australien, von Brasilien bis Indien.
Seine aktuelle Single „This Christmas“ setzt diesen Weg fort. Ende September erscheint zudem eine internationale Version des Shantys „What Shall We Do With a Drunken Sailor“, die er gemeinsam mit Produzent Monty HK aufgenommen hat – eine Hommage an seine Fans in England, wo er eine besonders große Fangemeinde hat.

Biography
Morpheus von Dobenhausen (33) grew up in Bavaria’s Upper Palatinate region. At 24, he moved to Switzerland, where he spent three years as a DJ and met a band with whom he later went to the USA. In San Francisco and Los Angeles, he developed his musical signature as a studio musician and bandleader. Today, he is back in Germany, working as a producer and recording artist with a strong passion for emotional pop.
His single “Two Hearts” already gained major attention, and in May 2025 his performance in Copenhagen became a true firework of sound and emotions. With “Love is in the Air”, he broke into international radio: the song is now broadcast on official stations in more than 30 countries – from the USA to Australia, from Brazil to India.
His current single “This Christmas” continues this path. At the end of September, he will release an international version of the shanty “What Shall We Do With a Drunken Sailor”, recorded together with producer Monty HK – a tribute to his fans in England, where he enjoys a particularly strong following.
